Don’t read anything else about this game. The less you know, the better. Just go play it.

The game suffers from poor performance due to locked framerate to 60FPS and forced VSYNC. Basically no graphics settings.
You play as a very annoying main character that talks to himself all the time with pretty cringy tone of voice.
The puzzles are very subpar. They usually require you to interact with every single item in the room, no real challenge, just tedious and boring.
The first "platforming" level with levers is poorly designed (no visualy feedback when flipping a lever).
There are achievements locked behind achieving high scores in really annoying flash-like minigames, just not fun.

I really enjoy puzzle games / escape-room games and I just did not have a good time playing Oneiros, even though I bought it at 1€ (-75% off).

The game runs incredibly poorly for a PS4 game. This PC port is awful.

I currently have an i7-8700k, 32GB of RAM and a GTX 1080TI and even at the lowest settings at 1080p, the in-game benchmarks runs from 30 to 50fps wit lots of stuttering/micro-freeze too. It doesn't feel smooth at all and is simply not enjoyable to play.

The PC port of Death Stranding (port done by the same studio) runs really well at 1440p High settings, so they clearly messed up somewhere with this game, I've waited a couple of years to see if they would fix it, but no, there has been no updates/fixes for ages.

Just don't play Horizon Zero Dawn and watch a playthrough instead.

People who paid for the base game and the first expansions were never told it was going to be removed.

They removed all that and replaced it with stuff you have to buy again.

The new DLCs are expensive and offer very little content for PVE players interested in interesting content / story.

If you like Portal, The Stanley Parable, or puzzle games like that, you'll feel right at home.

Lightmatter is a mix of clever game design, funny narration and very pleasing visual style.

It's a bit short (5 hours to 100% it I'd say) but it's worth the price, it's really good.

The latest free update makes it one of the best VR game out there.

The initial 2016 release was a mess, but the constant flow of free updates that improved the game every time more than makes it for the rushed launched. The game is not for everyone since you have to make your own goals, but if that's your stuff, you're going to enjoy it.
