Fast-paced 2d brawller that's both unique enough to not be a smash clone while still maintaining everything you like about smash. Can be played on the fly, and has a well built match-making to ensure you don't get your ass kicked too hard at the beginning, and you'll be duely challenged as you improve.


The weapon system is both it's strength and drawback. Each Legend has a combination of 2 weapons that can fall into several categories: the lance, spear, duel knives, sword, bow, blaster, hammar and axe. Each weapon type share basic attacks, but also have 3 unique moves (remicent of the B button in smash). This gives each character enough variety to be unique while making it easy for new players to get a handle on the game. Character variety defintely takes a hit, however, and after a while some characters begin to feel similar to others.



Overall, I'd give the game a 7/10. It's fun, competitive, and can (and probably should) be played off as a sideline distraction. It's also free, so if you're thinking about playing, install and give it a go.
