I would thumb it up if the game doesn't mash two of the most hated genre together and creating a far worse hybrid..
Sous Like + Rougelite because this is how the progression, unlock and punishment for dying in this game is like....

If you want a more realistic ' fighting ' kind of game, play Hellish Quarts, it's way harder but fair and more realistic.
In t hat game least enemies doesn't completely ignore all your attacks while they are attacking you, if either opponent attack if you can land a hit on your opponent while he / she misses, you will able to kill / damage them.

Unlike a lot of fighting games same goes for this, enemy will just stand there like a sponge take all your attack without even flinching, while they dishing out insane combo at you....

Or play Midnight Fight Express, that is a far superior fighting game IMO. Had way more fun.

It's an OK game but not worth full price. Hard to actually Recommend because it start off really fun but in the late game it's just frustrating. Game is extremely short only took me 4 hours and with multiple restart because of dying...but still only 4 hours I think if you're extremely good maybe you can finish it within 2.
I hate how modern games artificially make it difficult by

1) Enemies will always auto block / counter, you have to counter counter dodge dodge and then only then you finally get 1 hit which deals very little damage...
2) Game requires you to use environment, that's fine but refer to 1), because enemies will also auto block / immune to it
3) Swarm you with ton of powerful enemies making it just general unfair...

This is why I cannot recommend this game, when you see the vid in the page how he explains the gameplay, sure it looks cool in the vid because they showing you only 1 enemy. Try fighting 2 - 4 of them at the same time.....all of them attacking you simultaneously...

I bought the game for the Campaign....but even till now a game breaking bug still exist...checking the Discussion page seems like I'm not alone.

I've wasted 19 hours into the Campaign now it's all a waste. No matter what i did, I tried reloading very earlier saves doesn't work. When I reach the Turn 69....the game Campaign map just stop responding...

Don't buy this rubbish.....no wonder the game is sitting at Mixed Reviews, I should have known better...
Also some of the gameplay / Company in the Main Campaign is a DLC...

I'm not good with words...it's not really a horror game IMO or least how I felt.
But if you enjoy beauty in darkness, if you can understand what this means then this game is perfect for it.

Though I admit there are a lot of things that doesn't make sense....quite lot of loopholes too but looking past these things.
This game is easily a Masterpiece on my list along with another amazing dev ( Harvester Games ) that I first fell in love with these kind of dark story, a sort of psychological horror kind of game I guess ?

Lazy to give a full review.....it's not even worth one.
IMO if you enjoy it good for you, but personally this is a weird suggestion It's a complete different game but the atmosphere and theme is similar.
But I'm surprised I'm able to finish it under 8 Hours.

Just play Turbo Overkill...you will enjoy and have far better time wit ht hat game.

Bought the game since EA, love it then and love it even more now. High speed movement, intense gun fight battles.
Even quite gory at times, what is there not to love for any FPS fans.
Even though you have limited ammo capacity and most the time you regain HP and Armor back by gibbing and meleeing enemies. It's done way better than modern Doom like Doom Eternal....because the momentum is always there and never slowing down to a cutscene...
Game is punishing, it's hard and challenging. But not till the point it feels like total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unlike some modern games.
It's the good kind of hard.

It's ah OKAY game, honestly feels almost like mobile game.
Just get it on discount, shut your brain off while playing this game and have fun.
It's easy to pick up and put back down, that's the charm of it.

Not same like Hard West 1 but it's still pretty good. During discount it's really worth it. I still recommend this game easily.
But you may wanna lower the difficulty if things get too hard.
Don't let your ego get in way of fun...

Just buy and play Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden it's a better game in every way...
This game took the stealth idea from it IMO...but this game has horrible controls and janky as hell...
I used to love Harebrained games, Shadowrun Return was an amazing RPG, next would be Dragonfall....
But I guess after that It has become a Downfall....because Shadowrun Hong Kong is where it started to become bad.

Really love it, the art the noir setting and everything.
I thought it's going to be stealth heavy kind of game but it isn't, I can't wait for the rest of the episodes.
