Really fun open world action RPG. I'd almost say its a looter shooter with a great story. Gunplay is fun and involved with every gun feeling heavy and different. Melee is exciting especially with the Katana. Game may not be what the publisher advertised it to be. But it is beautiful, the voice acting is great, animations are amazing. So much expression in characters faces and body movements. Haven't beaten the game yet so I can't speak for the story but so far it's enjoyable if a little predictable.

A lot of stuff doesn't feel fully fleshed out yet, and almost makes you wish they would've released the game in halves. You can tell when the devs felt like that had all the time in the world vs when crunch time started. Stealth is pointless (although I feel that to be true in most games) Driving is clunky, the city is full of life and events but you don't ever feel apart of it. Some bugs but thats pretty standard with all AAA games these days, I'd say way a few months after release to buy it if you don't want bugs.

This feels like a dev first attempt at this kind of game. Rockstar has been doing it for years and has mastered it, I don't think CDPR knew what they were getting themselves into, and their marketing department didn't understand either. This game was advertised as the ultimate RPG full immersive "groundbreaking" a whole new level of game etc etc. Instead its more like a weird combination of linear story RPGS and open world games like GTA.

That being said, and to re-cap, it's incredibly fun, and plays more like a lootershooter akin to the Division and Borderlands, with Mass Effect plugged in. Is that bad? No not at all infact its really fun. But is that what this game wanted to be? No and it shows.
