I had this game since 2021 and have done 4 runs since (only 2 completed). Even tho I have fairly optimized those runs, I still struggled and still feel engaged

Even when I finished a run a year ago, I still keep thinking about my time walking down the streets, picking herbs and trinkets, looting houses, how I barely escape angry mobs and robbers, etc. The fulfillment from getting out of a rough patch and having enough supplies for the next day. This game got so ingrained in my head I kept worrying the in-game time was still running even tho I'm not playing it

I'm gonna be honest, I don't think I'll ever play this game if I didn't know what to expect. I've seen praise long before but HBombber's vid finally convinced me. I tend to set expectations for games that would cripple my enjoyment. If I went in blind I'd most likely get turned off as well

I wish more people experience the game but I also very well know why people wouldn't like it. Its a very memorable game. It's beautifully miserable. It's incomparable. I sometimes still dream about it

The levels are hard on purpose so you'll listen to the music over and over and get into buying the OSTs
