Little Caesars type game. A lot of people are going to be very vocal about how you can't enjoy it because they don't, but it's objectively pretty good. Not the best, but more than good enough.

Was going to give this a positive review before remembering I've only been playing singleplayer and theres a whole new multiplayer mode too. Games real solid.

This feels like a flash game you would have found after googling "free online games multiplayer" as a kid in the early 2000's. It's so homemade and full of personality, but also seems to be stable on the back end.

I was pleasantly surprised by how fun this weird anime tie in style game was, especially for the sale prices that the base game and DLC are currently going for. Beyond gameplay, there are a ton of characters and cosmetics to unlock or purchase to keep replayability feeling productive and beyond that the game is tied into the steam workshop.

I like playing killer and showing the survivors that flashlights do nothing and getting a free hit as they stand there with their caveman jaws agape

Very fun arena brawler. Casual, but just deep enough to feel rewarding beyond a single session like some low price "friend slop" is. Would be really great to get a content update for longevity. New augments, maps, items, and characters would go a long way now that a solid foundation has been laid in the 1.0 version of the game.

Its more or less the same game that it used to be and thats to say a solid game

Genuinely wonderful time on the surface

I don't want to glaze too hard, but everything feels very intentional. Sound design, crafting systems and item weights, map designs, enemy and player spawn waves, account progression etc. During my time in the play tests and server slam, as well as my time after launch, I can confidently recommend this to both extraction shooter novices and veterans alike. It's just a really solid game loop, and its polished and feature complete on launch. A rare sight to see. I've had no issues with engine or server stability, and it runs very well while maintaining a high fidelity.

Also, no server wipes. You get to choose when you want to prestige, and the game systems have that taken into account. No more working to get a good stash and losing it arbitrarily, and even the low tier loot is always worth gathering for gear upkeep.

TL:DR easy to get into, great gameplay, worth the money

EVERY single character is unbearably annoying and stupid as s h i t The game is soulless and a husk of the last game, but its free and the mechanics of moving your board are still fun. The experience as a whole is kind of awful, but pulling off a cool trick does feel good.

Hollow Knight 1: 2
Tight controls, fun fights and secrets, and beautiful areas and sound design. If you like the first game, or were even just interested in it, give this your time. Lots of fun little characters and quests to go on, and you have a good variety of equips to change how you want to approach combat and movement.
