Enjoyable game, challenging puzzles and creepy design.

Although the game itself is a little slow-paced, because the character walks very slow, so backtracking can sometimes be a little annoying, other than that, the story is very interesting, and the ending is worth it all the way.

Very enjoyable game, though I haven't played a game this dark & depressing since Manhunt 1 and Postal 1.

The bosses (apart from the first one, Cheogh) die pretty quickly on the difficulty I finished this game on (lightly broiled).

I love the references here and there (Haven't watched The Shining in a long long time, but everyone recognizes the frozen Johnny), and Caleb quoting Frank Sinatra song titles.

Overall, very good game.

Writing this immediately after finishing it. Same hub system as Hexen I, this game is a little bit more clear with what you have to do, although, that still does not mean that it holds your hand, it doesn't, you still have to figure it out yourself.

Unfortunately my ending glitched out, as in the text was not readable and went above the image, so I had to watch a video where it was readable, fortunately this is the only con I encountered in this game, the game itself is very enjoyable.

This game has a hub system (one level where you finish puzzles, get keys and backtrack).

I never thought I'd finish this game, one time I gave up on hub 1, because I saved, instead of loaded one, when I fell to my death, thus looping that fall.

I did not want to give up since I wanted to finish the whole series, and I had already finished Heretic. Couple days ago I finished this game, and I love it, the ending kinda hit too. very cool game.

I don't get all the negativity, which, from what I understand, has nothing to do with the story or the game, but I've completed this game (some time ago), no glitches on my end, very good game.

classic Splinter Cell type missions, nice touch with the whole double sided story thing, this game was a great experience.

Great game, nice grim story, love the setting, only thing is the music not playing throughout missions, you do hear them from boomboxes etc.

But I can remember the disc version (which I have) having music on 24/7, but since my disc version crashed on every startup lately, I bought the Steam version, I recommend this game alot!

Neat little game, funny story and interesting characters.

I am not even halfway, but I can already tell that this is one of the best remasters of a game ever made, I used to play the classic edition because I found the disc somewhere in a 2nd hand shop, didn't work and so I bought it on Steam, good decision of me because this game is just fantastic.

The graphics, the levels, everything has a different touch to it, but still the story is the same and as good as it ever was.

Edit: just completed this game, it's so good, never could've beat the final boss back in the classic edition, well... Wonder why? I had only 50 dark souls back then I guess, now I've even got the final soul, all cadeaux, 100% completed the game, and can 100% recommend it too! By the way, the music rocks too, especially the music you hear when you killed Marco Cruz.

Beautiful and compelling story, good music, fun characters, it all adds up, except the fact that the endboss is impossible to beat for me, but besides that, the game is worthy to check it out and I do not regret having (almost) completed the game, although the ending is a bummer because it feels very impossible, the story and atmosphere of the game is astounding.
