SUPER good. the atmosphere and design of everything is genuinely jawdropping, it's also WAY more complete map-wise than the early access launch announcements led on, was expecting more of an open alpha than a playable game so i'm really happily surprised. game has a buncha bugs though, but it's a super early access so i'm not surprised.

It was fun, and the best ending was pretty satisfying, but it seemed like it took a departure from the real to the more "men writing women-y" side, though it's entirely possible that this is just because the creator (in my opinion) based this one off the experiences of more fem people. Can't say i liked how the well drawn cutscenes try to make the girls seem "hot" or whatever, kinda defeats the purpose to me, and the final message which beings up the "blue hair and pronouns" thing like, unironically and then misgenders a hypothetical person is pretty lame. Also the implication that dudes who idolize sexual abusers and nonbinary people that see themselves in lesbians are somehow comparable reads as very centrist holier than thou. Ultimately, the biggest issue to me is that it kinda tried to establish Nicole as a character with her own feelings (and, confusingly, interest in marylin manson in a sexual way that isn't at all related to her own creation of wealth or power? which feels contrary to her personality but i digress.) I feel like this kinda misses the mark because, since we've played nicole as someone who is effectively entirely emotionless and as a vessel which has a few "turn to the camera" moments that comment on society, it doesnt work too well. Plus, the messaging of some of the ends of the routes seems, unfair. It seems to demonize the existence of sex work as inherently victimizing, rather than the in my opinion far more nuanced opinion of "maybe we shouldn't sexualize youth and force people into unlivable situations that create nightmare scenarios, especially survival sex-work." Also, 3 outta the 5 of the endings seem like they're fetish bait, 2 out of 5 of them have a dead girl that has them drawn as "pretty" (though one is an attempt at commentary).

Honestly, the closing remarks imo are just, the game shouldn't be afraid to pick a side, writing comedy for everyone sucks and one side is objectively better than the others. The game is about the horrific experience of American high school, it shouldnt weigh the opinions of wannabe kylars and people who see themselves in the female characters equally, or close to it. If you're gonna write about the horrors of life, don't be a centrist about it. The ending was great for the game, but the game is awful as an ending.

i honestly dont know what to say. the game is amazing. it might not be fun, but it is good and worth playing undoubtedly

honestly i dont have too much life experience with the topics described in this story, so perhaps my input isnt exactly the most relevant, but i think this game is truly exceptional in it's presentation. Even though the game is extremely short, the usage of colors, the intentionally abrasive font and the almost dream like visuals express the situation in a way words cant. incredible game, truly great.

Played this game twice, once on mobile and once on PC, genuinely one of my favorite games to date. The combat is simple in practice but extremely fun to master, the different battleships offer vastly different playstyles, the resource management is extremely enjoyable, and the story is absolutely amazing. This game is perfect. please play it.
