I love this game just as much as I did on PlayStation.

Definitely fun if you're using a controller, but here's a quick rundown of how the first 4-5 hours of Expedition mode gameplay went:

>Controller issues, screen resolution issues, camera issues eventually fixed
>Finally start game: "Oh god, this is so hard to play"
>"Oh god I'm gonna die!" "OMG EVERYONE I LOVE IS DYING"
>Started to get a better grasp of controls
>"♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DID YOU SEE WHAT I JUST DID I DID THIS SPIN MOVE AND KILLED THIS HUGE TITAN IN ONE SWIPE"
>Begin missions with horses
>"Horse. Move."
>Horse begins to manuvear better than playable characters across the screen
>"HORSE MOVE OUT OF THE WAY"
>Use all the gas with the express purpose of getting away from the horse
>Move in on abnormal titan
>Ready to take this one out
>HORSE FLIES ACROSS SCREEN FROM LEFT TO RIGHT
>"HORSE WTF YOU'RE IN THE WAY WTF"
>Manage to take abnormal out
>Horse outperforms you acrobatically in every way
>Starting to wish I could dismiss the horse
>Go to pick up gas can
>Mounts horse instead
>"HOOOOOOOORSE"
>Begin to dread missions with horses
>The word "horse" begins to appear foreign and strange from overuse
>Try to be civil with horse but can't help but swear when you see yourself on one when mission starts

This game is a blast, I love AOT, I love the gameplay. I know that the horse is necessary for missions with flat land because you can't use the 3DMD when there's nothing to latch onto.
I feel like a badass taking down massive titans and it's a plus being able to save others from being eaten.

Overall: 10/10 I love this game, even if I don't love the horse
