The game looks and plays great. There are constant updates and one of the most passionate dev teams in the business reacting to feedback. I came from Smite 1 and prefer Smite 2. The items are more interesting and aspects allow me to play off-meta picks without trolling my team.

Complaints:

1. The new player experience is a drag. If you try the game, please just grit your teeth and make it through the roughly one hour of bot lobbies. It does get a lot better. Even Deadlock, which is way more complicated, doesn't put new players through that.
2. Elo hell is particularly hellish with the amount of rage leavers. It gets better with every rank you gain.
3. Bring back Slash!

I'm not an RTS expert but the 1v1 mode is pretty fun. Fast games.

Addicting as hell.
