For a game with a fairly dystopian premise and setting, I wasn't expecting it to be as heartfelt as it turned out to be. What begins as a desperate fight to survive, carefully managing your resources and time, over time becomes a lovely story about human connection and community. This game's writing and themes genuinely moved me.

I don't think I've ever seen a movement system quite like this one, but it works so well! Learning to control the aureole is super satisfying, and moving through the levels feels very expressive. Accompanied by a great soundtrack, pretty environments and cute talk sprites for the characters, this is a real hidden gem!

It's such a shame that the performance is as bad as it is. Because if it weren't, it would basically be my dream Monster Hunter game. I've wanted a MH game with this much of a focus on ecology and whatnot since I played Dos. I've been having so much fun not only hunting, but also exploring and watching the monsters just hanging out in their habitats. But I can't in good conscious recommend it with the optimisation in it's current state.

An awesome little warioware-like game! It really takes advantage of the PC control scheme, with a lot of the microgames involving the mouse in ways I thought were quite creative and fun. And it has teeth too, the game is more difficult than I expected it to be, especially in the mix and endless modes. I thought it made for a very satisfying challenge.

I tamed giant crabs, kept them all in a big pit, and dropped an invading goblin siege into said pit and they lost in a fight with the crabs.
