This is exactly what everyone thought it would be, a 15 hour South Park episode with no filters. Rude, explicit jokes and themes littered throughout the game. If you don't like South Park humor, don't expect to like this game, the show is actually tame compared to this game. If you do watch the show, the game is filled with cameos, dialogues and references during the main and side quests.

Looking at it strictly as a game though, this is a very mediocre RPG, few spells, no difficulty and a lack of choices in the story. It doesn't have any replayablilty, unless you like collectables. However in my opinion, the humour is definitely worth the money.

Now respect my authoritah.

Always wanted to pick this game up, finally did it nine years after its release. I have to say, this game still holds up to the reputation it had almost a decade ago. The sounds in this game are incredible, even with the limited graphics it had, combined with the sound, its still one hell of a creepy game, definately one to wear headphones for.

Despite being such an old game, the AI in the game are very well done, the enemies duck and hide, while your allies never block you. It's definately an aspect that some current games (I'm looking at you Brink) still struggle with, but this one had it right.

This game perfectly combines shooter with horror, the scary scenes make you feel helpless, while the firefights not only test your shooting skills but also your observational skills to your surroundings.

Amazing game when it first came out, slightly unbalanced within the classes probably resulted in its poor metacritic score. Since then, many balances were made and it is a smooth clean game now.

However, over the years, its been pelted with skin DLCs and weapon DLCs which adds no real content to the game. As someone who has supported this project since before release I'm a bit dissatisfied with what the game has become, but it still provides an enjoyable gameplay experience for those who want a co-op zombie experience that is not L4D2.

There are types of people that come out of playing this game. One that beats the game and loves it and the other quits after 3 hours and never returns again (god bless Capra Demon, gatekeeper of casuals). If you put in the time and effort, you will get over the difficulty curve and this game will be one of the most amazing gaming experiences ever. A true test for people who call themselves gamers, this game is absurdly difficult yet fair and satisfying at the same time.This PC port is quite poor, but DSfix does help a bit, its not gamebreaking by any means and shouldn't hinder anyone from trying this title out.

Gripping story, emersive setting, a true horror game.

You do have to play it like how it shows in the trailer though, if dodging and hiding isn't your thing, this game is not meant for you. Tons of replicas of this game has been made after its success but few actually match this game's quality.
