So I'll start with my reasoning/explanation why I chose what I did above. All in order and as coherently as possible. So as the Peruvian Jungle as a main setting, the developers have proven once again that they certainly build an environment that has depth as well as quality. As someone who has played the previous 2 games and still enjoy them for their beautiful worlds and views the game can graphically perform, the makers of the game worked their ass off to make a jungle and mountains feel alive and breath-taking. The greenery and open sky, as well as detailed physics for water and foliage make most of the settings very immersive. Only running the game on High and not ultra still allowed me to enjoy the open world and open spaces it had to offer with great detail. Interior levels like tombs and crypts, though they tend to be dark, still have a lot of atmosphere to offer with the developers own Anti-A and preferred settings offered to the player. Characters and NPCs in this game also look significantly better than the previous installments, Lara appearing in higher fidelity and also not appearing to be "wax" or "wet" 24/7 like in the previous games. Many of the side characters that have their own scenes also look great. NPCs can be like repetitive with their appearance in some sections of the map but I think that the Devs managed to balance out quantity without to much repetition.

That being said this game does present the problem for low end players. Running on a decent 2 year old GPU and CPU with 16gb ram there are a lot of moments where the game stutters and freezes during cutscenes and most of the time traversing through access points between levels. 3 times when the game did freeze it crashed the game to desktop. Which was a bit upsetting because I didn't want to turn down the quality of the graphics. Usually the game would run just fine after restarting and stutter a bit less for a while.

Audio and music wise this game does a very good job with the keeping the atmosphere of a level with how it works, but I wouldn't go as far to say the soundtrack for this game is award worthy. I think it's good music that helps maintain the game grounded in the settings, very chant like and jungle-tracking-esque. As I explained above, there is only really once scene of the game that got my eargasm for it, but unfortunately after that music settles back background music. Guns, people, and environment noises are exceptional though, helping fights and traversing cities, jungles, villages, or caverns feel very real.

Gameplay-wise, I don't think this game standout more than any other installment in the series, except for the fact playing on keyboard feels a lot less clunky than before. A lot of happens to be button pressing since this game pushed immensely on on tomb raiding and exploring, rather than the previous games that sensed to have a better balance of both exploring and fighting. The puzzles in some certain tombs definitely play out creatively, having sections with several moving parts of a puzzle and and timed sections as well. I will say for sure not every tomb is created equally. Tombs that belong to the side missions of the game are probably some of the most memorable and creative tombs to solve and get into. The regular tombs from the base exploration of the game don't feel quite the same. Something in this game that also struggles is the stealth mechanic. I feel like in most sections of the game where stealth is encouraged, not matter what I end up reloaded the checkpoint because I was spotted and a hell broke lose. So many enemies in this game come with headgear, so no matter what, arrows are useless for stealth since they require two shots to kill. Even if you kill the guy you shot at within a split second, every enemy know where you are instantly after half a second, thus leaving you to get into an all out gun fight against guys who take 3 bullets and die. Another problem that presents itself with the stealth sections is level design. The maps for each part of a fight are too small, and feel very claustrophobic when there are 10+ enemies who all have sight lines towards each other. So having to do a sneak-up-behind-every-enemy is very difficult especially if you dedicated to stealth. Chances to throw things in a section of a map like this leaves you bit helpless too because there is a just too many guards to deal with/distract.

Story:

So after putting around 25+ hour into the game can agree the notion that this game is perfect for how the series is going so far, as to put a lot of attention towards the internal struggle Lara has faced through the trilogy as a whole. This game helps you certainly get the sense that shes used to the fighting, exploring, and the puzzle solving by a lot more than the previous games. As a character she has certainly matured and still in several cases showing that she is starting to harden as not only a warrior, but Lara Croft herself, and what that means. The villain in the game also shares characteristics of a believable guy who has his decisions based on strong beliefs; Jonah and the other acquaintances from the game also tend to have pretty good dialogue and conflict with Lara, but I would be lying if I said it was perfect. Some of the development for the characters feel either overlooked or rushed sometimes, and as a player you feel this sense that something more was meant to be built between characters. Pacing overall within the game didn't feel like it was bad, but it certainly felt slow towards the ends of Act I and beginning of Act II. In conclusion I'm unsure of the story of Lara Croft ends here, but with some attention to detail and a brand new fantastic setting, the narrative has potential.
