Absolute banger of a video game I have not experienced much joy in a minute

I’ve put in a few hours over the years since the week this game came out. What a sour ending; Removing Linux support was not the move devs.

This pile of ♥♥♥♥ will not launch anymore as of update 1.6. Coming back now because of v1.8 and the game still never boots. Waste of my money.

Edit 12/9/2017:

I found a temporary solution to make the game run, althought it's quite a pain to do so. Before beginning my method i closed all external programs, pretty much everything, leaving steam, uplay, and process explorer open. I used process manager to kill the process tree of uplay and restarted thedivision.exe within process explorer ~2-4 times so uplay opens up and runs the game properly. This is the only working solution that makes the game run, simply deleting the game for reinstall or reinstalling steam/uplay served no avail. In all the game runs, but it's at an inconvenience since event viewer, or a game error log fails to writes down why it won't run properly from clicking 'start' or 'play' from steam/uplay.
