I had high hopes.

Fun...but only if you have a group of friends willing to play.

Might be salvageable if they added bots...but they won't.

I shed a single tear, because I always wanted a game where you oper8 as the USS.

But not like this ;_;

New players are at a HUGE disadvantage. I understand it's supposed to be a "gritty hardcore Russian shooter," but when you're limited to a single gametype (deathmatch) on a single map until you level up enough to unlock more maps and game types, and you're tossed into games with level 40+ players with WAAAY better weapons and "abilities" which include armor...it's a chore at that point.

The game also seems to have a hacker problem, but I of course can't prove this.

Something about the controls feels unresponsive. Like there's a delay between me hitting a key and my character actually doing the thing I need him to do.

The skill system feels like a slough to get through. Not only do you need "Skill Points" to unlock more skills, but it costs "Credit Points" (in-game money) as well. When you're limited to earning a few hundred CP per match, again it just feels like a chore.

Weapon balance is terrible. SMGs do more damage, at a longer range, with higher rate-of-fire, than assault rifles.
OK bud. I'm having R6 Siege pocket-sniper flashbacks.

The limited number of players means it likely will never get any better, so if I could make a recommendation to the Devs (as if they're paying attention to reviews) it would be to add bots. New players would have a chance then, and the game won't feel so dead.

Overall it's hard to recommend this game in its current state. I only bought it because Escape from Tarkov looks really good and this seemed like the next best thing (so I thought).
