Very good puzzle game that you can finish between 2 or 3 hours. It's all about finding secret compartments and solving very clever mechanical puzzles to unlock other secrets and so on.

Difficult is just right, maybe even easy in general. There are no impossible puzzles with a "I would never think that solution" feeling. They are just hidden things and clues to those, and I found that they are very intuitive to follow. Almost guaranteed to not get stuck, and even with got for a minute or so, you can use the game hints to help yourself.

Although graphics in general is not what makes a good game, I have to say that The Room very a very nice rendering which makes a very atmospheric experience.

Spelunky is one of the best plataformers around. It's very well designed, even though it's very hard you get a very rewarding feeling of accomplishment when you finally succeed on your goal. While trying, you gonna die a lot, but that's part of the experience and most times it's funny.

The major upside here is the replayability, I mean, there are a lot of great games where you have a very deep story or cool mechanics, but in general, is not that fun playing again after you finished. Spelunky is different, since levels are randomly generated, every time you play you got a totally different run.

A wonderful masterpiece of game design. First, I like how this game treat me as an intelligent human being capable of making connections and discovering things on my own and at my pace. But there is much more...

The whole idea of presenting a concept with non verbal communication is very clever, and performed with excellence.
And the major feeling that describe this game experience is epiphany. You have it in a variety of situations and levels, some are minor ones that make you smile because your brain automatically made little association which helped you solve a harder puzzle, some feel good because you realize something different that you never noticed before, and some experiences are so big that I can not describe in any other way than mind blowing.

Indeed there are a lot of puzzles, and sometimes you may find it kind of "tedious" just solving some puzzle on a uninhabited island. But that would be either because you did not allow yourself to feel what the game proposes or maybe you just can't. In any way, I must say that the game is much more than this. Those puzzles are just one way to live the proposed experiences and to build a mindset which will make other moments remarkable.

Probably one of the best games I have ever played. Innovative mechanics and deep story, perfect combination. And the hidden stars were really, really, really hidden.
