A chilled game, but also a lot of 'hidden' detail. Packing your ship full of cargo in such a way so no goods fall overboard or cause a capsize in heavy weather, is extremely satisfying.

Gotta watch some Saving Private Ryan, Fury, or even a bit of Band of Brothers to really get into the zone before playing

Basically Among Us but with a lot more to do and great 19th century Arctic setting! Any fan of deception games or team focused games would appreciate it. There is only one map so far, but it's in early development with 2 more maps coming soon, and it plays really smoothly. No annoying bugs to note so far. I'd say worth the money easily

If you're expecting an improvement from Insurgency, you'll be disappointed. If you're a fan of CoD, you'll probably enjoy this, as it's basically CoD HC. Plays smooth, but I was hoping to play Insurgency, not CoD 15 (or whatever they're up to)

Muskets!!! Can be slow paced, but the epic group volleys and charges make it all worth it. Effects are insane

The melee mechanics in Mordhau are the best I've ever seen in a game. Armour values are unrealistic but competitive, and the balance only has minor issues with some weapons and loadouts, but on a whole, is very polished. Awesome skill ceiling, you can really feel yourself advance as a player, and can see the amount of skill the early access backers have. So much potential for different game modes, but as it stands, you can not beat this game when it comes to hack and slash.

Awesome ww2 game! Love the huge maps and sound design this game has to offer. Slow paced fps, tactical and reminds me of Band of Brothers. The towns look authentic, and considering the size of the maps, are very detailed. The way the infantry/armour/commander are all setup in different sections works perfectly for good teamwork. So even though you have massive teams going against each other, you're only working closely with your squad of 8 or 9, which makes playing with mates that much better. Any fans of ww2 fps games need to try this, even if it's a change of pace from other fps games.



EDIT:

The ARR community that basically run all the Aussie servers have ruined this game for me. As a tanker, I am unable to play as a tanker unless I join a squad. Essentially, if you want to start your own squad, you need to have mates that play the game and want to play tanker also. You can't solo a tank even if in an unlocked squad. Yes players MIGHT join, but most likely I'll be sitting at spawn twiddling my thumbs.

Brilliant squad play, and assymetrical battles between the US and Vietnam forces. Would highly recommend to any fan of decent hardcore fps games
