This is a company that cares more about selling new copies of the game instead of nurturing their creation.

There is potential for the game, yes. However, it has a long way to go before it gets there, and the company that owns this IP is driving it further away from that point - week over week.

The way the player feedback is being handled compared with the very clear lack of respect for any sort of Quality Assurance phase in their updates, does not bode well. Their communication to the player community provides the illusion that they care about their product and the player experience, and retaining players. However, their actions are 99% reactive vs. pro-active.

Granted, yes, they gave us a Player Test Realm. However, it's only active for a very short period of time while a patch is in pre-deployment phase. Additionally, they take none of the player feedback into consideration prior to that deployment... and just do what they intended to do in the first place. After deploying the updates to production, they then tell the community that they read the feedback and will consider it for future adjustments.

Like, seriously, that's now how testing works.

Regardless, this results in a terrible situation where they fix one thing, and break two more. Repeatedly and consistently.

Final verdict from myself: Stay away from this until it's about 3 years old, at which point it will likely have either completely died as a failed experiment from Amazon Games or they hopefully stumbled their way into a feasible product.
