A little nice detective game, although very short.
The french translation can be awkward at time, and you will ask yourself "am i really understanding this correctly ?" multiple times.
Dont hesitate to grab it on sales.

Dave the Diver is an adventure/management game. Go fish during the day and then sell sushis during the evening.

My review :
Graphics : 2 points : Very cool 2D pixel art.
Gameplay : 2 points : Very precise gameplay, with many different QTE and styles.
Sound : 2 points : The soundtrack is cool, SFX are perfect..
Replay value : 0,5 points : The game is so charming, you will want to come back to it to unlock everything.
Entertainment value : 2 points : Lot of different gameplays, cool moments, and so much secrets to discover, things to unlock...

TL.DR : 8,5/10
A very cool game. Totally deserve the praise. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommend.

A nice addition to the "base game" that manages to add a whole new layer to the story. I recommend if you want liked the base game and want more.

The case of the golden idol is a point and click puzzle/mystery adventure. You will have to investigate a series of mysterious deaths inexplicably related to a strange artefact.

My review :
Graphics : 2 points : Very charming 2D pixel art.
Gameplay : 1 points : A simple point and click, that works perfectly.
Sound : 0,5 point : The soundtrack is nice, but not unforgettable.
Replay value : 0 points : Once you have done 1 playthrough, you dont need to come back to it.
Entertainment value : 2 points :

TL.DR : 5,5/10
A very nice and cool mystery game. Very well writen, it has some head scratching moments.
If you liked "Return of the Obra Dinn" you will like "the case of the golden idol".

The past within is the new "point and click / escape room" game from the Rusty Lake game series.
But this time, its co-op only.

My review :
Graphics : 2 points : The 2D is as good as always and the 3D is a big step-up from previous game while retaining the same aesthetic.
Gameplay : 2 points : the alternance between puzzle types, and "perspective" is a great combo
Sound : 1 point : Nothing particular to say
Replay value : 0,5 points : One you have 2 playthroughs, you dont need to come back to it. Not a lot of achievements.
Entertainment value : 2 points : Played the game with a friend and we had a great time. I really enjoyed the different storylines and "perpectives". I might be a bit biaised on that scoring because I love the series.

TL.DR : 7.5/10
A very short, but very cool moment. Fans of the serie will feel right at home and enjoy seeing familiar faces.
For the non fans, you will find a nice little co-op game for a nice little price. And I hope it will make you want to dive into the rusty lake universe.

Graphics : 2 points : Beautiful cartoon hand drawn artwork. If you like this art style, its a flawless execution.
Gameplay : 2 points : A lot of different classes are available who all bring their own gameplay mechanics. Everything works and bring its own challenge.
Sound : 1 point : Great songs and sfx
Replay value : 2 points : A lot of secrets and challenges and secret challenges will satisfy the hungriest completionist out there.
Entertainment value : 2 points : what can I say ? The combat, platforming, story... I enjoyed all of it.

TL.DR : 9/10
Serious contender to TOP 3 of my favorite game of 2022. Apart from the ending of my first run where i felt a little bit pissed, I just loved the game. They picked the formula of the first game and pushed all buttons to the max. It was tough to put the game down. And after seeing the true ending, I still feel like I have missed some elements. I will definitely go back and replay it next year.

In 1802 the ship "Obra Dinn" disappeared at sea. 5 years later, it is back, drifting near the cost, without a single soul on board. As the inspector for an insurance company, your task is to determine the fate of the crew and its passengers. Your tools : a book to write your findings and a mysterious pocketwatch that gives you the ability to witness the death of anybody...

My review :
Graphics : 1 point. Either you get into it or not. Sometimes its a bit difficult to figure out whats really happening because of the graphics, but the black and white one goes very well with the story.
Gameplay : 2 points. Not a lot of action, but everything workd fine.
Sound : 2 points. The music has its own role in the game and is quite nice, the voice acting is perfect, the sfx are great. Flawless for me on that part.
Replay value : 1 point : You will need two playthroughs to get all achievements, but lets be clear, one of them is not achievable unless you know what it is.
Entertainment value : 2 points : A great story, with a lot of plottwist and secrets.

TL.DR : 8/10
A great game. Pure and simple. To be fair I have to admit it got a bit frustrating in the end trying to figure out the last 10 fates. , and at some points you will feel really dumb when you get something right after a lot of failures.
If you are interested, DO NOT LOOK AT ANYTHING, its a game you definitely dont want to be spoiled.

Bloodstained is an action rpg putting you in the shoes of Miriam, a warrior with the ability to absorb skills from her foes...

My review :
Graphics : 2 points. Beautiful game with varied environments.
Gameplay : 1.5 points. For some reason, I found the hitbox of some weapons to be a little bit off... but the combat and exploration is smooth with an increasing difficulty to keep you on your toes.
Sound : 1.5 points. Music and sounds are nice, they nicely set the tone.
Replay value : 2 points. new game+, games modes, second character and randomizer = a whole lot of replayability
Entertainment value : 1.5 points. Good storyline, Nice combat. I really had a great time

TL.DR : 8.5/10
If you are a castlevania fan like me, you will feel right at home with Bloodstained. Maybe "too much" at home actually, but the game has very cool mechanics and a lot of secrets to uncover. Even 10 minutes before finishing the game I was still discovering things.
And even if you are not astlevania fan and looking for a cool action rpg, go for it.

The outer world is a fps rpg. As the only survivor of a colony ship lost in space, its up to you to survive and find your way in this unknown world. Guided by a mad scientist, what will be deadlier ? Primal beasts of the wild ? Or greedy corporations ? How will you make friends and foes to accomplish your goals ?

My review :
Graphics : 2 points. A beautiful game with varied landscapes, i really enjoyed the walk.
Gameplay : 2 points. A good mix of combat, exploration and dialogues to navigate through situations.
Sound : 1 point. Music, voices and sounds are ok.
Replay value : 1 point. Nothing to see after the main storyline ends. I havent played with the dlc.
Entertainment value : 1.5 points. The combat and rpg mechanics are solid. game feels a little bit short after having done all sidequests.

TL.DR : 7.5/10
I had a very good moment in "The Outer Worlds". The writing was great and the game well executed. I feel frustrated that you cant visit the whole solar system, and some companions sidequests felt less fleshed than others. If you are looking for a cool adventure, go for it.

Children of Morta is an action rpg with rogue elements. Meet the Bergson, a family of warriors, in their fight against an evil force corrupting the land, that seems to have an interest in them...

Graphics : 1.5 points. Cute 2D pixel art with many details and nice colours.
Gameplay : 2 points. With 7 characters to choose from, there is a playstyle for your taste. A good mix of combat and exploration.
Sound : 1.5 points. Music is great, sfx are fine.
Replay value : 2 points. New game + and a lot of elements to unlock will make you come back to it.
Entertainment value : 2 points. The combat is very smooth and the story tying everything together is well written.

TL.DR : 9/10
There were some frustrating moments, especially during boss fights, but in the end I really love the game. I enjoyed the combat and story a lot. Good job Dead Mage studio !
