The studio that was developing this got laid off. While Take-Two says that they are still planning on "supporting" the game, this almost certainly doesn't mean further developing it... since ya know... they just fired all of the developers of the game.

Shameful to sell this in EA at full price only to effectively cancel it.

While there are many bugs, many of which can be overcome by reloading; and while some are more game or quest breaking, this game is perhaps the best game I have ever played.
If you are unwilling to deal with the bugs however, do not play this game right now.
