Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is the true heir of Left 4 Dead 2.

It is not simply a coop game where you have to kill hordes of enemies: it includes true tactics and action-GdR like elements which make you change your style of playing while using one class instead of another.

The Warhammer world is truly represented with fidelity, the characters have a good mixture of epic kindness and comic lines which render the game engaging and well characterized.

I appreciated a lot the choice of a looting system which doesn't include microtransactions and forces the players to play well and to find collectibles in order to unlock better loot (like in a Diablo-like game). This choice gives the game more longevity and a major sense of fulfillment when a level is finished on higher difficulties or with grimoires taken.

I also want to give a plause to the optimization of the game, which is in a good balance between graphic impact and performances, and to the models used for the npc all around the game: it is a true jump into the Warhammer world.

I reccomend to play it with friends, it is the best way to enjoy this little precious.

This game is a NO-BRAINER. It is incredible how a such short story and less than two hours of gameplay can leave you such a lot of things! And the best is yet to come, in fact you can replay it for more time and many more times because is filled with easter eggs and is not easy to find all of them...

I stopped playing it after getting the most of the achievments but I plan to play it again because it deserves it! The shortest graphics adventure in the world but at the same time the richest of meaning...it is a real loop of fun! :D

Che dire: una chicca! Semplice, per nulla complicato ed abbastanza irriverente. Il tema è, si, un pò blasfemo...però gli sviluppatori hanno confezionato un prodotto irriverente ma non offensivo (sono cristiano). Non sono presenti bestemmioni di sorta o questioni che possano offendere...lo trovo piuttosto ironico e spassoso anzichenò! :D

È assurdo come per riprovare una certa sensazione di suspance e/o di frenesia in un gioco a tema zombies (ormai trito, ritrito ed abusato nei videogames) abbia dovuto aspettare un Indie che tecnicamente di innovativo non ha nulla. Come motore grafico utilizza l'Unreal Engine in DX9.0c (ormai vecchio ma, se usato diligentemente, fa la sua porca figura), il tema e la trama sono un classico, quello che vi aspetteresta da un nuovo "Dawn of The Dead", nè più nè meno. Quello che vince in questo gioco è il mix: prezzo accessibile e nemmeno tanto elevato, elementi platform, scorrimento orizzontale, la capacità di riproporre le difficoltà di un survival horror (come la consapevolezza di non essere invincibili con una accetta in mano davanti già a soli 3 zombies). Sinceramente è un gioco che mancava nel panorama indie e non solo, e permette di passare due o tre pomeriggi di divertimento senza spendere un capitale (6 euro è davvero un prezzo equo, aprofittatene adesso!). Tecnicamente il team è stato bravo: si è limitato a dare al gioco il dettaglio e l`atmosfera giusta, senza forzare troppo il motore grafico per cercare di rendere il gioco troppo sfarzoso...piuttosto hanno creato un universo omogeneo, ben dettagliato, alla portata di tutti i PC e, oserei dire, immersivo (soprattutto se si gioca con le cuffie). L'interpretazione delle voci merita, la trama non stanca (essendo un classico), graficamente piace (nonostante non sia "next gen"). Insomma ha tutte le carte in regola per il mio benestare! :))

P.s. Spero in un sequel più longevo, visto che questo mi sta prendendo tanto e sono consapevole che domani l'avrò terminato a 360 gradi! xD

Davvero il degno successore di Arkham Asylum! Ne migliore tutti i punti cruciali all'ennesima potenza regalando una vera esperienza da Batman! Mi dispiace soltanto non averne la collector's edition! Ma credo che mi rifarò appena possibile! :))

Signori un capolavoro da giocare ASSOLUTAMENTE!

Il capitolo conclusivo perfetto per una trilogia EPICA.

Che dire...per me rientra negli FPS con la trama migliore di sempre! CAPOLAVORO!

L'attesa è stata ripagata ottimamente! Grande ValVe!!! :D
