An absolutely amazing game. In my opinion, it is the best shooter in it's respective sub-genre and it's not even close. I have purchased many games over the past few months and they are just simply boring compared to Doom Eternal and The Ancient Gods. After you get the hang of the controls and the timing, you truly feel like one BAMF. I absolutely can not wait until T.A.G part 2. Must have game, GOTY if you ask me and soundtrack of the year.

I haven't seriously gamed in 7 years and playing this game with my son is exactly what I needed. Simply amazing! The fast paced action is a great stress reliever during the lockdown. Definitely purchasing 2 copies after the trial is up. Great job devs!

I bought this game last month on sale and I'm certainly glad I did. I just completed the main story and it took me 52 hours. I could've easily postponed the completion of the game another 30 hours of play time as this world is so gigantic and there are so many things to do. I chose instead to advance through the story because I enjoyed it so much. There is one part that actually made me saddened and I can not recall a game ever doing that. When I first started the game, I almost gave up after 5 hours or so of gameplay because my car was so weak and it seemed too unbalanced, but once you push through and defeat a few camps and start raking in the scrap and upgrading Max and your car (Magnum Opus) the game becomes much more fun. I would like to reiterate just how huge this world is. There are fast travel locations to unlock, but I found myself hardly using them. I would set out to go on a mission and just start driving and often get side-tracked taking down a convoy or just fighting the dozens of different enemy vehicles in the game. This is also my first review I have ever written after nearly a decade on Steam, so that is also saying a lot. If you are considering buying this game, just do it, you will not be let down.

I have not played in a few months and jsut got on to see what they ahve done with it. The Fun Pimps have made one helluva game for sure. I absolutely DO NOT like survival/crafting type games and was basically forced at gunpoint (actually my wife threatened to hold out on me). After playing for the first hour, I was hooked. I enjoy starting my world over after so much time because to me the beginning week is easily the most fun. After you get sniper rifles and freaking rocket launchers, there isnt much more to do. At least not a few months ago so here's to hoping they have added some great features for us!

I enjoy tweaking some files and explosive crossbow bolts are amazing! Would blow up a nurse zombie again!
