yeah haven't played fighters in a bit.. nothing as fun as p4a. also just too much of a backlog to spend a lot of time on them. i do wanna try out the new gg as well because it's "easier"

just mostly stuff that has come out in recent months i guess. tokyo mirage sessions is the latest one and it is an OK game but does have some nice vocal songs and battle system

its at&t. but it really depends on the area where that type of speed is available. the max I get at home right now is 45 with at&t so gonna be an awesome upgrade

I did a lot of post game content in the main game, which was mostly killing the big bosses. it was fun stacking combos and element weaknesses with ease. also collected all the blades. it is super grindy though if you want to level everything up.

don't forget the amazing OST! flat out one of the best imo

yeah rex felt unfitting as a protagonist... at his age anyway. didn't help that they were comparing him to addam a bit who seemed way more capable then he'll ever be. game visuals would of been amazing on pc/ps4 instead of switch. so much fps and resolution quality dips but was ambitious.

i actually havent played torna but i have it. i binged play xc2 and then wanted to take a break before playing torna... and now that break still continues. my vesperia is still wrapped

damn you figured how i figured you out. smash i just kind of unlocked all the characters anddddddd stopped playing. yet i feel so accomplished because of the sheer number of characters I unlocked. smashbox is too wild for me to even consider it

i've been mostly watching the KH stuff thru youtube. only played 1 and 2 before and did play 2 again recently but the gameplay feels a bit dated to me. too floaty! but even watching the entire series is a lot to go thru. i just finished watching 358/2 Days

yeah got lost quite a bit early on. the different elevations in the world map kinda made the compass useless. but it was kind of cool, more times than not, to get lost and just explore where you need to go.

got mah vesperia CE... but I have not played yet. catching up on Kingdom Hearts before KH3 comes out. then may finally delve into it but also got xc2 torna dlc to still play and catherine out next month. i could go on. gahhh no time and can't pick!

while suffering from the snail mail experience, i finished xc2 and already dumped 105+ hours into it! well not quite done as I still need to play the dlc prequel (torna) and more grinding to be more op but the main story is done at least.

i got super sucked into it and really enjoyed it. thought it was slow at first but the battle system ends up opening quite a bit with all the crazy combo shenanigans and there is so much customization, blades, setups to experiment with. music/world is top notch and characters are fun to follow.

rex isn't that great of a protag though.. a bit too young. i played with jp voices, and while I do actually like the english localization versions of the names, it is indeed really annoying to not hear the same thing like you said. so they should of stuck with jp ones. also, you can tell the game is being held by switch hardware in the technical department.

that pill would only give you an additional 8 more hours to play ms2.

xc2 special edition should be here soon! i will get twewy after that. did hear that the switch version of twewy has a lot of control issues because its based on the mobile version but I shall see (never played it). adding ya

i was almost tempted to play honkai impact 3 cause it looked cool. the ones I play don't have pvp so it's at your own pace although it can get grindy if you want everything.

i played a little bit of undertale. was fun but not sure why I stopped... probably got distracted by shiny new game at the time

yea the main two i play are fate grand/order and dragalia lost. quite invested in them so in turn, I won't judge for your mmofunsies.

yea fighting games take wayyyyyyyy too much effort. it's either put in all the effort to get good or stay a scrub. no in-between. the p4a days were glorious though which also included getting the almighty hitbox.

i played all the localized ones except trails in the sky 3rd which i want to before CS3. i am soooo bad at remembering too but yes you'll forget and have to wing it.

there was actually 10 year gap in localization between trails in sky 1 and 2 (the amount of dialogue is pretty amazing, NPC's dialogue change after every single event). cold steel 1 and 2 had a much better release timeframe though... like 1 year apart so hopefully 3 and 4 will follow suit and be fast. anyway, let's see if you get sucked in.

yea you can start at cold steel. if you end up liking it, you should play the other games as well as there are two other arcs of trails games that will eventually converge into cold steel 3 and 4 (not localized yet though). here's some good info!

DQXI is solid but not great. music especially is extremely underwheming and lacks variety. if you play it you must download the orchestral music mod because the ones in the game are like MIDI quality. story is a bit meh too. everything is pretty much the standard jrpg fare but it's still enjoyable.

you will love the trails series when you get to it.

that limited edition looks pretty sweet! will prob be my first switch game i play.

the switch doesn't come in till next month so I'll add you then.

if you feel rpg-ish then maybe trails in the sky? combat is outdated but the world is pretty immersive. slow burn though but it does have the best slice of life feature for a rpg (turbo mode). yakuza 0 is a fun one if you want some action and storytelling. vc4 is awesome as well if you like vc1.
