I went in without knowing anything about this game. At first it seemed like standard slice of life fare, exploration and talking to people, but quickly it got deep as character's discussed their lives, their problems, fears, etc. Topics like mental health, substance abuse, the disappearing middle class and the death of small towns.. and so much more. I'm writing this right after completing the game, sort of still coming down from the doozy of an ending... If you can get past the narrative driven gameplay (as in very little actual game in the game, more like an interactive exploration novel), you will have wonderful, depressing, beautiful time.
