My personal GOTY, heres a few reasons:

Soundtrack:

The music of a game is always one of my favorite parts, and this soundtrack was flawless. I would have never thought I would have enjoyed folk pop, but this game really did it for me, and I now have tons of bands and artists that I love.

Gameplay: The rewind feature is pretty interesting, quite unique IMO, I really enjoyed playing with it. I kinda had to get rid of my knowledge of old puzzle game mechanics to understand quite a bit of these puzzles. Very fun gameplay, its more of a interactive story, like most TellTale games, but it still has fun gameplay.

Story:

This game's plot/story was... nothing like anything I've seen in a long time. Not only is it original, it is one big life lesson: Keep in touch with old friends, strive to make new friends, and being there for people you love is great and you will receive the same love. The games story really left a lasting effect on me after the insane ending, and for a few days (and even as i'm writing this review) it really made me depressed everytime I thought about the game.

Fantastic game overall, totally reccomend it.

The ending, when those.. things start spawning, from the black holes and attacked me. I died every time, and I felt hopeless. It actually reminded me of my nightmares, where I was stuck and felt weak and defeated. This game did the exact same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing, after I beat it was I shaking. I felt so... powerless. It is insane that a video game could do this to me but it did...

Oh boy, where should I start? Alright, let me try.

It was is a fantastic game. It is one of the first game **games** that I've been able to play on this crappy computer, and boy was I glad it could. This game is probably the best, even now, 11 years later.

*GAMEPLAY*

It is very fun, period. The mechanics like gravity gun make it very exciting, and the game itself is very fast paced. Sometimes, it can even be quite scary, with dark places like ravenholm. The physics are solid, the controls are solid, and so it everything else.

10/10 on gameplay.

*GRAPHICS*

Now, I can't say that its a bad game because of this. It's 11 year old game, up close textures look quite blurry (like console, HUEHUHE AMIRITE?!) but when not up close, it actually looks quite amazing, and very VERY immersive. It seems to be very optimised too, I can only dream of a game looking like this run at 60 FPS on this piece of crap.

9/10 on graphics.

The game itself, was I guess alright. Decent, but has NO place on steam. Plus, with this scandal stuff, this is unnaccetable.

This game was amazing, like most artsy-puzzle indie games. Great story, and the puzzles were fantastic. The story was good, and the black pawn path had a tad of a horror/amnesia feel. Its about 2 hours gameplay for one path, but if you pick the Black Pawn once you finish it you go into the White Pawn, more dreamy. Altogether about 4 hours of gameplay. Great game, reccomend it to anybody who has some free time and likes indie games like this.

Here we go, my first review!

This game is semi-addicting, its fun and all, but after awhile it gets boring until you wait and play it again! One thing bad, but not going to say its a bad game because so.

When you first start, its hard. You get the hang of it though, and once you do, its easy. Their's different mods, so you don't need to worry about getting bored either. :)

Probably more, but i'm to lazy. Go ahead though, its so fun!
