would recommend big time BUT
i wish this game wasn't abandonned. feels like only 20% of it's potential is being used. also the controls are quite bad.
after some time the world actually feels empty too, and i don't mean to have 20 quests around every corner, but once you traverse the world in a straight line for 15 minutes, at least give me more variety of plants and stuff

i love the complexity of the game with all my heart. however it is new player unfriendly and many of my friends quit before they got a real taste of the game. also the omega tactic feels predatory AF, i understand unlocking more stuff and having to spend SOME money on the F2P game (so they can profit from their game) - i've done so myself, HOWEVER what isn't good at all is you having to upkeep that ,,premium'' status in order to actually USE the stuff you unlocked. and yes, you can farm ingame for it BUT with the availability of high-profit operations on alpha (or lack thereof) basically means you HAVE to wait and skill an account with omega for months before you can actually become ,,redundant from your IRL wallet'' which is a shame.
game devs have continously proven me and other people that they dont give a sht about the ,,f2p'' community (WHICH I WASN'T A PART OF WHEN I STILL PLAYED) by e.g. deleting free rewards for playing etc.

also the game really ,,rewards'' big groups (like many MMO's) which is extremely bad for people who would like to casually explore the game and just have fun not having to sweat about getting killed in high-sec (the ,,safer'' zones) by a group of bored 40 people ganking in their throwaway ships.

the game's depth is great and i didn't mind spending many months learning the it and NUMEROUS different playstyles (check out ,,eve online career chart"), however once you specialise it's extremely hard to ,,respecialise'' since it takes months to research skills (which IMO is not that big of a problem on it's own)
unfortunately, combined with the predatory premium account tactics it is hell since youre either paying or are locked to grinding for months before you can TRY a different thing and see if you might like it.

i don't have a bad word to say about the games ,,admins'' since they are really nice to talk to and overall ,,customer'' service is really nice itself.

greed ruined this game (which i would gladly pay SOME amount of money for, or a SMALL continuous stream of money on) and it made me withdraw altogether. 20 euro for one month omega??? no thanks i'd rather go and dive IRL since thats basically the cost of one dive. why pay for the ability to grind further when you can do fun stuff irl or go get other games.

this game would be a STRONG YES from me if it wasn't for the increasing (unnecessary) level of greed from the (i suppose it was their inititiatives) CEOs

RUSH GAMES ARE FLOODED WITH PEOPLE QUITTING AND AFK-ING!
do something about it. make a penalty that makes people wait for 5 min after quitting and better ban afk exp farmers

also there SHOULD BE A FULL MATCH REPLAY SYSTEM. why it isnt implemented yet is a mystery. or not - ea is trash and won't even read my review or try to make the game better.
thry will just make more paid stuff because the brainwashed sheep will keep buying it...

new player experience is abysmal. multiplayer is swarming with salty retur dea.d kids who either rage quit or spam chat commands and stand in place after losing the first goal. the shtty EA (eat ass) money grabbing company does jack sht about it and there's no way to escape this playerbase hell because mm is based on if you win or not and not how you personally play. i never p[layed any fifa and decided to give football game a try but it just disappointed me.

you can't play 11 vs 11 multiplayer easily which honestly surprised me in a football game.
the ,,player'' community broke my fkn mind after trying to get at least 4 games of just 5v5 full team in a row.

there were some kind of cheaters who turned their player models invisible and there was no way of reporting them because EAEAEA doesnt care.

and you can't play 11 vs 11 multiplayer

at least tutorial taught me how to pass the ball...

devs pls come back to this game.

First off - the game isn't the ,,realistic tactical squad like game'' as many people say. from my experience mostly people who never played arma/squad games think of it as such. that doesnt mean it's badly made - the shooter part is smooth and i like the minimal hud thing.
that said the lobbies on EU are a mess - in however many hours i've had by now I've only been in 2 ENGLISH SPEAKING LOBBIES that's right - TWO. the rest are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ russian speaking idiots who take the games hostage, teamkill and kick you when you say something in english. there should be an option for an ,,english only'' matchmaking because it's infuriating
gonna change the review to positive when that issue is fixed

also 14v14

the controls are unbearable. this game proudly sticks ,,RTS'' on itself, yet it doesnt have any rts mechanics for unit control. e.g. - cant even make one dumb squad member (recon) stay behind and all the units move in a single formation. this lone thing made me refund.

Game is perfect, yet bugged but one can live with that.
Also to the idots saying that content is behind passes and quote ,,oH bUt yOu CaN GrInD CuRrEncY" and say that it takes forever. Skill issue, me and my friends can easily farm 200-300 credits daily casually playing and to people who want to have everything unlocked ASAP - get good that's what gaming is for, if you pour time into something and get results that's when that thing gets valuable.
Utter noobs getting mad that they have to play the game in order to unlock anything is absolute madsht
