Balatro is an amazing game and highly re-playable. Designed for basically anyone to play as long as you know the very basics of poker. Manipulating the cards and jokers is rewarding and never gets old. The strategy can be as deep or simple as you want.

Easiest recommendation ever. Jimbo is the homie!

Cool take on FPS roguelite. Very addicting gameplay loop. Lots of diversity in items and builds.

Can't wait for the new character and to see what they add in future updates.


EDIT: Many patches, 2 new heroes and nightmare difficulty have since been added. This game is honestly a steal at full price. Lots of replay value. These devs deserve the praise.

The game was super fun at launch. Leveling with friends and getting cool loot.

As soon as I reached the end game it started to get incredibly boring. The pvp is ♥♥♥♥ and the pve is just mind numbingly slow and boring. So much grinding. Playing the game eventually felt like a chore.

I regret buying this game and would recommend not getting it unless it's like 10 dollars.
