$40 for a key of this game is not worth it for some tf2 items. The game itself is very funny and I really enjoy playing it, but it does get repetitive after some time. You can probably buy yourself a key of Poker Night 2 for $5 on Amazon.

I played this game for some time when it was released, it was glitchy but funny. Came back to it a few days ago, and a lot of stuff have changed.


The gameplay is pretty much the same, grab your equipment, enter the house, find where the ghost is resided and proceed with the checks (emf 5, ghost orb etc) to determine which ghost you're dealing with and also job tasks (take a photo of the ghost, etc). New ghosts have been added since its release, tho I'm not sure adding more ghosts would be too much to have in the game. There are also new maps, but I haven't played them all, overall the diversity of maps is ok, my only problem is some maps are too big, which makes the ghost hunting experience boring (which is why I think they should add an option to have more players for bigger maps and maybe more ghosts too) and not very attractive for these bigger maps. Speaking of players, you can limit a session to have 2, 3, or 4 players in a session, or if you want to, you can also play all by yourself. The game is still very active, being played by at least a couple of thousands players. The pinnacle of this game is playing with friends, so make sure to have some friends to play with if you're looking to have some good times.


There is a level up system in the game, actually, there's always been this mechanic, but it's a bit different from what I remember. To unlock more maps, equipment and contract difficulties, you must level up. Before they released the major update that changed this system, I was only level 67, I had already unlocked plenty of stuff, but now I'm back to start, having to unlock all equipment once again (excluding maps and contract difficulty which I guess It's part of my prestige). The game gets more and more challenging the higher the contract difficulty. You also get more XP the higher the contract difficulty, respectively being:

• Amateur - 1.00x XP
  
• Intermediate - 2.00x XP
  
• Professional - 3.00x XP
  
• Nightmare - 4.00x XP
  
• Insanity - 6.00x XP

As I said previously, there's an acceptable amount of maps to play, some of them are small and great for beginners, some are quite big which are mostly played by veterans, as it brings a more challenging experience. The ambiance is pretty scary, not because it's dark most of the time, but because you don't know where the ghost might be lurking at and when it's gonna come out of the darkness to scare you, also, it gets 10x scarier if you're playing by yourself (that's just an unwritten rule for every horror game :P). It's easy to find the ghost in a smaller map, whoever, it can be tough to do so in a bigger one.


The game itself is not that much scary, there are no jumpscares so no need to worry about that, the only things keeping you scared is the map ambiance, random ghost appearances and if you're playing alone. It's funnier with friends but, overall, the randoms can be pretty chill, so don't be afraid to make new friends. Gameplay can be basic, can be complex, I think this all depends on which contract you have selected. It's not hard to level up if you are playing on Amateur all the time.

So much nostalgia. I really recommend this masterpiece!

O jogo é muito bom, seja pra jogar com os migos ou sozinho e sendo que não precisa estar conectado a rede wifi para jogar! Recomendo para todos os públicos!
