Haven't played myself much yet, but the artstyle and music are outstanding.

Very creative puzzles, distinctive artstyle and nice music all make this one of the best puzzle games I have recently played.

Yes, English translation of this game is just bad and you are not able to read parts of the text, including items descriptions. But otherwise you get a very fun to play H-game with likable protagonist, her greedy little sister to assist you and other colorful characters. You also get a great integration of H-scenes into battle system and even some nice storyline. Definitely give it a try.

If you don't enjoy South Park tv series, I'm sure you won't enjoy The Stick of Truth - as this game is being closer to a long episode from the show than to a cRPG. Battles are easy and the system is very simple, yet I wasn't bored, as enemies are so, uh, unusual you are waiting what kind of wacky attack they will use next.
I used to watch South Park season 1 back in the... 1998? but didn't come back watching after that (if it was on some public channel I would, most likely), so going back to South Park and meeting all these new (to me) characters was an awesome experience. Especially when this "dungeons and dragons" story is just a kid's game of pretending to be wizards, warriors etc., with everyone being fully aware of that and throwing comments like "what's with this stupid turn-based system?" and more: farts are "magic", coffee is a "speed potion" etc. and I enjoyed this aspect of the game world a lot.
There is only one thing I didn't like (besides it being so short, as I really wanted the game to last longer and was sad it's already over): some songs are recycled from the show and don't fit the theme, for example there is Lemmiwinks song, yet you are the "hero" now...? Same goes with abortion song mentioning "Christmas", which is out of place in the context of the game story.

Anyway if you enjoy South Park, you should enjoy this game as well, despite its simplicity.

My first Metal Gear game was Metal Gear Solid on PlayStation and I played it back in 1999. I enjoyed it a lot, then was MGS2 which I played on my PC; despite many flaws I enjoyed MGS2 as well, but mostly for plot twists at the end (calling them "over the top" would be a huge understatement). I also played MGS3 (on my PS2), where absurdity was toned down a bit compared to MGS2 and I still liked it for some boss fights and nice setting.
When playing MGS2 and MGS3 you will inevitably encounter comic/absurd/retarded moments (not so much in MGS1), both in action and writing portions, which - in my opinion - can be extremely cringe-worthy as most of the game is presented as serious story. And then Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance comes, where over-the-top, comic and/or absurd actions and dialogues are its bread and butter. And I love this game for that.
I longed for a MGS game which doesn't play serious, where proportions of comedy/absurd and "serious business" are reversed and boy, MGR delivers. Fight system involves parrying lightning-fast attacks, counters and sometimes simple QTE's. Boss fights are oftenly finished with some extremely satisfying overkills and cutscenes many times are simply for comedic value, like Raiden's disguise or "otaku guard". But there are also some serious bits, with my favourite being final boss speech and realization that, to some extent, he is right.

I highly recommend this game to both action games fans and non-orthodox MGS fans, as this may be the PC game you were waiting for.

Pros:
- interesting story
- interesting desing
- many funny moments
- few puzzles are quite neat

Cons:
- very short
- some puzzles have very vague descriptions
- some puzzle types are recycled
- story seems rushed and you get answers too fast

It is a nice little game I recommend to everyone who played Puzzle Agent 1, but consider buying only after huge discount/in bundle/etc.

Pros:
- gets somewhat interesting in the middle of the story progress
- has few funny moments
- interesting storytelling mechanic
- X-Files mania, VHS tapes and hidden porn mags reminded me how it was to be a teenager in the 90's

Cons:
- so short you may not be able to even get all Steam Card drops before you finish it, so extremely poor playtime/price ratio
- story is about teenager dealing with her homosexuality, told through her journal - I found her stories to be cringeworthy at best and some moments were just ham-fisted (sex ed writing task papers randomly placed for you to read)
- beggining and end of the story is boring, in the middle you may not be sure where this is all going, but the closer to end you know what happened, which renders the whole time spent playing somewhat pointless

tl;dr if you want a fun and satisfying story-driven game, go play Deadly Premoniton.

Not for normal people - only for those exceptionally skilled or just with infinite patience.
