Valve did it! This game lived up to my expectations and the hype!

The graphics are hands down the best I've seen so far in any VR game. I was amazed the way you can break glass, how the fluid splashes, or the how you can see particles in the air with the laser sight. This is truly awesome :D

The gravity gloves mechanic feels super smooth, especially on the Index controllers. The controls feel natural, grabbing objects / reloading your gun, it all feels right. You can really feel the Half-Life atmospherics, the scale of characters and buildings. The chapters are really well designed, the mechanics are awesome! The sound design of the game is also freaking good!

Here are few minor bugs I encountered:
- I had some items stuck in walls (ammo stuck behind fence just as I took it from my shoulder, cogwheel stuck in wall when I tried to insert it in place), had to revert to a previous save
- My right controlled flew away and never came back (only in-game, steam detected it just fine), had to revert to a previous save
- Jeff clipped trough the closed garage door
- Fingers can clip trough objects when grabbing them, and they are visible inside the object (e.g. can see the fingers inside of the bucket)

Some thing that would have made it even better:
- More intractability with physical objects (e.g. better object boundaries and collision, being able to push out the matches from the match box and have them fall out)
- Smarter / more reactive NPCs (e.g. the opening scene on the balcony, I thrown stuff down to the streets and nobody reacted, would have been awesome)
- Walking at a slow pace should not result in fast paced trampling noise
- You can pick up, smash, throw, move most object, however there are some (seemingly random) objects you can't.

I really hope this will encourage more people to get into VR and I hope we will see mods and more games like this in the future.
Thank you Valve for this experience, this is a big step for the VR.

+EXTREME REP: this guy can see in the dark. He uses state-of-the-art thermal cameras to stay on the top of his game. He can detect the slightest temp elevation on his GPU because he nonstop monitors his gear. I once heard he also likes to watch cats with thermal cam but I cant be sure that's true so take it with a pinch of salt that one.

+HUGE REP this guy uses industrial grade surge protection outlets to fight surges and other mambo jambos affecting his electrical network. Thunders have nothing on him, his AC line is clean as fresh butter. You would think this guy pulls the plug during storms but it is actually the opposite: he plugs in all his antennas, listens to shortwave stations and plays CS:GO all while thunders maul the sky!

+rep Let me give you a little background about this guy:

He loves two things in this world: good GPS accuracy and Brie Ben burgers. You can easily see how he goes about his business by combining the two...he can locate chains that sell these burgers anywhere on planet Earth. One thing he cannot do though is obtain these burgers when they are no longer sold anywhere!! So if you reading this and have a leftover Brie Ben burger somewhere in your pocket or in the cabinet, please donate it to this guy! Thank you!!!

+rep the zoom levels this guy can achieve via his new camera is not yet understood by humanity. he can easily read books from 3-4 miles away or spot smaller rodents on the field while flying a plane. I suspect he plays CS:Go with full zoom and thats the reason he can defeat even highly skilled players!

+rep humble dude with one of the largest collection of outdoor antennas. gains he can achieve under 1 GHz is out of this world. if you ever see an antenna anywhere, this guy probably has it in his man cave!
