Megabonk is an almost perfect representation of the best elements of the genre. While there is still plenty of development to go, it's already a fantastic game. From the unique characters to the vast wealth of upgrades and workable synergies, everything feels like it was put together with care from lessons learned in other games. That this is a 3D game with cheesy, minecraft-esque violence makes it perfectly playable for people of every age and experience range.
