Time travel is my jam, so I might be biased... The story is great, and if you like who digging into collectibles then, there are a lot of extra details to uncover. Remedy’s trademark layered narrative is here in full force, and the moral greys kept me thinking beyond the end credits.

Gameplay is fun and fluid, even 9 years after release, it still feels smooth. It carries some of the gaming tropes over, but never felt dated or punishing. I wrapped it up in about 12 hours, and it was a satisfying ride.

I was left frustrated with the dangling threads at the end. It’s clear Remedy was offering a bit of sequel bait, and I just want closure — let me finish a story, dammit! The live-action episodes also… a nice concept, but way too long. Thank God I had ChatGPT to fill in the blanks when I wanted to skip ahead.

If you like fluid gameplay, a fun time travel story, and you don’t mind a few unanswered questions, then Quantum Break is absolutely worth your time.

Frustrated.

After 26 hours of play, the game won't launch. Have tried all suggested options and got no where. Cannot recommend.

Played at a LAN party with 4 other players. It became a weekend favourite. There's only 3 maps and a handful of characters but the game is fun and has a character of it's own. A funny side effect of your kill streaks is you need to eat, sleep and use the toilet during the match! There are bugs, such as players not finding your game, or the game not start, or even the game not stopping (Steam thought it was still running 10 minutes after I logged off).

Recommended for some cheap thrills with a group of friends.
