Probably one of the best games i've ever played. After many hours playtime (Had the game since Beta) this is one of the games i keep returning too even after all these years, and still have so much to do and still find so many great things about it. Playing with others is a great asset to this games longevity as well as being able to play solo in single player. The events are great and when you find a great community like i have in Maelstrom Gaming's 18 map cluster, (previously 10 when i wrote the review) with great mods, you can enjoy the game with great people. A 5 star game and server in my opinion. MaelstromGaming.com is one of the few servers left that run ASE so come join us on a nine year old never had a wipe server.

Hell no. Bad combat, bad graphics, Play ARK instead.

In short - the game itself used to be good, but lack of updates and actual real content has driven players elsewhere. The only ones left are people who cheat with exploits of bugs that according to devs are unable to be fixed. Makes for a very, very bitter playerbase and a dead end game. After 1 year of SWL - it still has less content than TSW.
Do not play this game unless you want to associate with exploiters and do not fund them either. Your money in this game goes to other games developments or pays the wages of people who do not even have the knowledge or gumption to fix things that have been broken since 2012.

EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT THE CLAIM THAT CHEATS RUN THIS GAME AND DEVS DO NOTHING SINCE 2012 - FUND THIS AND YOU ARE PART OF IT.

[19:27] [General] [*Culann]: In short the wells are not coded robustly and you can slip out of them on occasion. They do break and have for a helluva long time. It's nothing to get worke up over. Just move a long and get on with it.

And there you have it - reports have been sent and if I take a ban over this for exposing the cheats then so be it. Quite frankly I do not care about the game nor it's community no longer.
Ban me if you please. I've already requested all my association with this game be removed from their servers or registration records.
If nobody is vocal about this then they will keep getting away with it and no dev will fix the huge amount of cheating going on.
