I believe that winning doesn’t make you a winner and losing doesn’t make you a loser. It should be about HOW you win and HOW you lose. We can’t win them all. As a teacher, I think failure is a more important learning tool that succeeding, and I have failed more times than I need to share here. I don’t regret any of those moments because they help to define who I am today. For the children of today, I hope you understand, that failure is NOT a fault but an opportunity for growth, AND what you see today is NOT a growth model. Take risks, reflect, be gracious and grow, regardless of the outcome. We can and should be better than this. We have to be.
