It's not "purposely broken". The main questionable issue is its Vne limitation as dictated by the manual, which no one has been able to disprove specifically for the FAW.9 variant. Now obviously the plane "should" be capable of the oft-quoted figures in secondary sources and books (1131 kph @ SL), but because the RAF rather infamously limited the Javelin to a 535 knot airspeed limitation at low altitudes IRL and Gaijin wants to adhere by the pilot's notes wherever possible, we're stuck with this.
