As someone who has enjoyed the Sims thoroughly, I do find this game fun to play. I put around 2 hours into it so far.

There are two 'gamemodes' if you like: story, which you follow along with different clients, buy real estate to work on, complete puzzles, etc. There's also sandbox, which is a free build mode. I found both of these quite nice to play around with.

Now this game is still in EA, so I did come across some issues. Sometimes after using the colour picker, my cursor would remain stuck as the dropper tool. I also really struggled with placing curtains and moving doors, an L shape room provided rather tricky as it kept aligning with the adjoining wall instead. I also found not every item can be customised, my dream of a white monitor crushed. Also some kitchen items.

Despite these, the game has a nice variety of items, textures and colours. The story mode is very varied and isn't too challenging with the puzzles, however the option of a hint (domino room because finding them repeatedly was half the problem) would be nice. Furthermore, since the rooms aren't being interacted with, being able to place bigger items closer together (thing bb.moveobjects for a simmer) would be nice but isn't a necessity.

Overall, I'd recoomend this to anyone who likes a relaxing gameplay and enjoys decorating and building up rooms! I'm excited for what the Dev will work on once out of EA, particularly mod support. Hope this was helpful :)
