Early Access games are not the downfall of anything, people. Here's how you avoid turning into a whiny little child trying to set up silly 'Covenants' against alphas:

1) research the dev - have they put out Early Access games before? How did they do? Have they put out any complete games before? What were they like?

2) research the game - is the forum community happy? How many updates have there been? How often are they?

3) only buy if you want to be part of watching the game grow to completion (ideally!).

4) don't buy if you just can't wait for the final release, or if you have even the slightest suspicion it might not go how you'd like it to go.

5) if all else fails, just stop buying games in Early Access and only buy games that are complete. PROBLEM SOLVED.
