Sonic Forces doesn't reach the greats of other 3D Sonic the Hedgehog outings such as Sonic Colors, Sonic Unleashed, and Sonic Generations, but it's an enjoyable little game nonetheless, especially if you purchase it on discount.

The game features nice visuals and catchy music, but falls a bit flat in the game design department. Stages feel shorter and more simplistic compared to some of the stellar Sonic stages of years past, and a laughable plot that takes itself a bit too seriously can be awkward at times.

Overall a solid 6 out of 10 to me. I don't regret my time with it thus far, but by no means is it a must play.
