all I'm after, is damage skins for the cars. Just to make it crash good in animation, mainly the charger. No idea where I can find crash skins or decals that might actually work

@kwodzio Uhh depends on how you think about it 😁 I mean if I were to hypothetically charge UK minimum wage for the hours I have spent working JUST on my Dodge Charger model, through all the revisions, rebuilds and learning new techniques I'd say it would be worth over £40,000. That's a VERY rough calculation for maybe 5,500 hours of work over the course of 12 years. Obviously I wouldn't charge that because the Charger is my passion project and I've never worked on it in the most efficient way, always remaking stuff that wasn't damn near perfect.

@SkyNinja Ha, I will never have a good answer to that question. I have actually made a lot of progress since I last posted some progress images but then because of the Covid-19 lockdown I decided to move back to my parents to try and save some money. Ever since I've moved back I've been fixing things, upgrading our home network and trying to clear out old junk from the house, it's practically another full time job on top of my full time job so unfortunately the Charger took a back seat for the last 5 weeks. I'd definitely like to get back to it soon.

Ok that does sound quite interesting actually. I have played a tiny bit of Assetto Corsa and it would be pretty nice to try out some lower powered normal road cars in the game. I have been thinking about trying to put a car into Assetto Corsa in future but right now I've got a lot to do before I even think about learning the pipeline for another game.

Would it be ok if you could send me a link to your pack of cars? I would be interested in giving it a look.

@Master Chris, I'd like to get your Pontiac Grand am model to have in converted to Assetto Corsa, it would be part of my American Econoboxes pack which included others like the cobalt, cavalier, ion, neon, and more but those are just naming the ones I already have in game

Hey there, glad you like the model, I'm always quite surprised by how many people have a real attachment to the Pontiac. Unfortunately I have no plans right now to do any more work on the model as I have a full time job and my free time is currently occupied with other things at the moment.

I actually had no idea about the Need for Speed mod until I read your message, that was made without my knowledge. I'm not really that bothered by it but I just wish the guy had asked beforehand :steamfacepalm:

As for the 3D printing idea, it sounds kind of interesting but I don't think the model will work with a 3D printer in it's current form. There are a lot of holes in the mesh in various places where I cut out detail you wouldn't normally see when playing with the car in Garry's Mod and that would make it potentially unsuitable for printing without a lot of modifications.

If you ever need more GA pictures I can help out with those. These cars have never been made as far as scale models anywhere so I love that you put them in the games. :D

@SkekMal Thanks for bringing this to my attention, though I'm not quite sure what action I want to take right at the moment. I'm certainly not pleased about someone re-uploading the vehicle pack without my permission, I'm pretty sure they could have just uploaded a new addon containing just the scripts to add the Simfphys vehicles but required people to download my addon for the models. IIRC you can add a "required addon" to your own which would tell people who subscribed to his addon that they needed to also download mine.

Soorry there hasn't been much proogress there as I've been very busy at my job and I haven't had a free weekend in quite a long time. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll actually be able to make some decent progress.

@TYTD le dragon gris Thanks very much for the support ;) I am really enjoying my work, and I have actually started to make some progress on the interior of the Charger in the last couple of weeks. I have no idea when I'll be done or even if I will be putting the car into Gmod yet but I'll try to have some kind of update once there's more to show. I really must get a better website set up some time too.

Haw, too bad, i really love your works, even more the dodge charger 69', it's my favorit car IRL, and i love the sound you add to this car, and also the sound of that car in the simphys mod... SO ♥♥♥♥ING BADASS MAN NICE WORK !!! But, am still waiting for the interior of that car (and maybe am not the only one) but it still cool, and your job is most important than Gmod, so i really hope you have some cool days, i don't know you but it's not a raison for not being nice with strangers ^^

@Weston Devanche If you're talking about rigging them for Garry's Mod I'm afraid it's a nice offer but i'm not able to, I'm currently on a brand new machine without my modelling software on it and I have a full time job now so I don't have a lot of free time. That, and I'm afraid I just don't really have much interest in GMod any more, I've moved away from it, not that I don't find it interesting but I'm just not your man for this job.

@WorldBB I'm glad you've enjoyed my vehicle pack, it means a lot. it's pretty crazy that it's been out so long.

Sadly though I don't accept friend requests over steam unless I already know the person from outside of the steam community, otherwise I would get inundated with friend requests from loads of people I don't know. I hope you understand.

Dude, you don't know me but ur charger on gmod is f**** fantastic. I don't even know how u did it but u did it well. There is so much detail! u spent a lot of time on that and I want you to know its appreciated. I have spent 200+ hrs just driving that thing around and costimizing it with wiremod and what not. If you could lighten up the interior a bit that would absolutly make my day. I dont want to sound some wiered 10yr old ranting about something and I've never done this with anyone else but I just wanted u to know ur cars are awsome and STABLE. Most cars I have are either purble and black or dont even work. I published a version with lights, speedomtoer, automatic locking doors, and more if you would like to take a look. I have also made som pretty wicked Monstertrucks with it but they got deleted unfortunatly. Thanks
