my one wish is that you eventually remove all the AI art in the full release, slop like that is very harsh on the eyes and puts a bad taste in my mouth.

Fallout 4 is a good game overall, it's a great beginner step for new-comers to the Fallout franchise, but with the recent "Next-gen" update that tarnished mods, ruined saved games, and created an objectively worse experience, It's hard to recommend unless you're willing to spend the time to mod in necessary features.

Fallout 4 overall has pretty great gun-play and exploration, it's the most recent mainline game in the franchise so that is to be expected, but the story and writing is not great. You are given the option to customize the protagonist and make them whoever you want them to be! neat! BUTTTTT they are already an established character in the universe, they have a backstory and lore and voice acting, it's this weird mish-mash of wanting to get you immersed while also wanting to make them a character, it leads to situations where you feel out of control, especially with dialogue options that just feel stupid. This is something that another Fallout game --Fallout: New Vegas-- does exceptionally well, as the character you create and the stats you give them impact dialogue in a believable way, with options that are funny and fit the situation rather then the "Wheres my son." from Fallout 4

In conclusion, Fallout 4 is a great game, with great gun-play, exploration, and atmosphere, if your coming from the new Fallout TV show on Amazon Prime, then Fallout 4 is what I recommend, but if your just looking for a good and immersive RPG, maybe check out New Vegas
