The game is hard, even cruel at some points. But pushing through is definitely worth it. It's more difficult than hollow knight but if you wanted more of that, this is the game. I also strongly suggest you progress into act 3 since that act is by far the most impressive to me and stopping after act 2 would be a shame.

Best non-fromsoft soulslike

Amazing DLC for the base game containing dozens of hours of end game content. The world for the DLC is incredible and the level design is top notch. Many complain that it's too difficult, but by collecting enough Scadutree Fragments the difficulty becomes fair. I'm not sure if this level system is great though since it forces exploration, but if you like to explore regardless, it's not an issue.

Edit: Just beat the final boss (NG+0, SL 190, Scadutree +20). They're on a whole other level but beating them without summons or a cheese build felt incredibly rewarding. In retrospect, no other boss comes close to the challange.

Good game

Fun and creative game with plenty of levels to beat.

I've kept my plants alive for 3 years now. This is my biggest achievement in life. Thank you game for giving me a reason to live.
