I came into this without much expectations for this to hold a candle to Ace Attorney, but I am glad to be proven wrong.
It has every right to be called a masterpiece and not a just shallow copycat.
The story was compelling and interesting, with the intriguing plot twists.
It has a banger soundtrack, something I always liked about these games.
It even has it own unique spin of game play during investigations and trials.
And most importantly, it has likable, unique characters with personalities that you can't help but be invested into.

TLDR; Play this if you are looking for a similar experience to Ace Attorney, or just want a fun interactive visual novel!

West of loathing is a comedic, satire filled RPG game taken place in a fantasy wild wild west setting. You are a stick figure, and so is everyone else, and you embark on a journey to save the world. Just kidding, you meet goblins, become a necromancer, fight a murderous circus, discover futuristic alien technology...

Story:
Bloody marvellous. This game oozes with personality. The story is rich and has many paths that you may explore at your own discretion. There is plenty of secrets and events that can occur from the dozens of locations available in this game. You start as a wondering cowboy stumbled upon a small town, helping strangers and dealing with problems along your way. You may think that NPCs are boring, but the dialogue in this game brings laughter and life to everyone. The writing is simply beautiful.
In addition to a whole new DLC of the gun manor, there is a whole new story to explore.

Art:
It may look simplistic from its obvious black and white stick man style, but it is fully compensated by the personality of the game. The story and style of the game combined with this unique style gives this game its own special personality.

Gameplay:
A simplistic turn based style. There is a variant of combat styles to choose from, muscle packed cow punchers, moxie filled snake oilers, or mystical bean slingers. Difficulty is flexible. Game too easy? Hard hat will give you the hard mode. Too hard? You can grind easily without too much time or if you research enough you can easily game strong items from the right areas. There is no serious penalty to death and you can take as much time as you want. There is no time constraints.
Free exploration. It is possible to speed run this game or fully explore it with its subtle rogue like elements. But there is still a linear main story path, but you can choose to look into the many side events instead.

TLDR:
Funny, unique game. Guaranteed good time. Play it. No skill required.

Danganronpa features you landing in a extreme situation where a talking teddy bear forces you to murder your friends in order to escape!

Story:
One of the most detailed/well written i have ever seen. The fact that is has Danganronpa 2 and Ultra Despair Girls and an Anime to conclude proves this. (V3 is different)
Everything from Character design to the murder sequences and the world outside, the plot to this story is exciting and cohesive. It is also very thorough in explainations so it is easy to understand. Even when you replay this game, you can find many subtle references or hints to the things that are coming up.
Plot Twists make Spaghetti become Fusilli. Some are expected, but the ones that are least expected strikes HARD. It will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Gameplay:
Not much to say here. The only significant gameplay is Class Trails and School Mode. You are able to roam in a 3D environment in first person in the school with a map for navigation. Graphics are unique as they simulate a paper cutout environment in rooms. Cutscenes are also really well animated with sprikles of CGs here and there. Perfect for casual gamers who are just looking for an exciting story.

Conclusion:
If you like Visual Novels and Murder Mysteries, PLAY THIS GAME. This is the peak. There are others like Zero Escape, but Danganronpa is unique like no other. You won't regret this.

A great game with complex, interesting story and intruiging games. If you are a fan of danganronpa i cannot recommend this enough. It has a perfect balance of dialogue, puzzles and story for you to properly and thoroughly understand the story. It provides a full guide for all endings for a complete, immersive experience. Not to mention an almost full voice acting for all the dialogue, and a pretty good one.

All in all, great story, great execution of it, worth the buy.

I recommend this to anyone that has time to sit through this amazing story. The atmosphere is so comfortable and relaxing and i enjoyed every minute of it. Gameplay was minimal but relevant, secrets scattered slightly, and with amazing n=and intriguing characters i cannot recommend this enough.

Just imagine this as an upgraded novel with music and visual arts, 10/10
