Studio shafted the lead developers. Don't support that.

As for the game, it is in fact one of the greatest pieces of media I have consumed in my life. I don't even like IsoRPGs I was about to cry at the end.

Can't wait to see what the lead devs make in the future.

I should have reviewed this years ago, just like how you should've bought this years ago.

Truly a masterpiece of western RPG design. I don't think I'll ever find a better Sci-Fi D&D campaign.

I have a job that requires me to to sit behind a desk for 8 hours at a time in a customer-facing position. As of this writing, it is the off-season and while I have to look sharp, I do consistently have my laptop at the desk because I do use it for work. My boss does not care if I mess around so long as customers aren't seeing me do it. This game is absolutely amazing for that purpose. Everyone who walks by thinks I'm doing some sort of data-entry or something. Highly recommend if you're in a similarly boring predicament.

I absolutely love the Medal of Honor series, and Respawn has consistently been one of my favorite developers. But this game feels half baked, and could be so much more if they had considered not putting the player on rails so often. If they'd have not blacked out the whole screen for snipers, if they'd let you properly reload guns, if they had full arms, if the guns didn't magnetically attach to you, if the arm placement on guns wasn't painfully static to the point where you can't even aim the sawn-off. So many of these issues become apparent very early on.

I'm really disappointed that this game turned out the way it did because I've been waiting for the VR equivalent of Allied Assault for years, but unless they overhaul the entire game, this ain't it chief.

Look, I only play this because my friends beg me to. It's really a wash, rinse, repeat game that, said and done, is the same gameplay loop every time. Gets old fast.

Although much of the tone and setting has been changed from the original, this remake is a love letter to its roots, and well worth your time.

I hope to God this game is a joke because the visuals and gameplay are nowhere near as good as the trailers make it look. I felt second-hand embarrassment playing this. The game is still marked as EA but was supposed to be done in early 2020. It's the end of 2020 and what I'm looking at looks and feels like a cheap mobile game. I'd be furious if I even paid $25 for this.
