Fun game, but it fails miserably at imitating FlatOut. Either get it when it has a big discount or just buy/play FlatOut.

The Good:
• Pleasant soundtrack
• Decent roster of non-licensed cars
• Funny intentionally bad voice acting

The Bad:
• Awful attempt at simcade handling
• Terrible car physics which cause you to flip constantly
• Horrible hit detection. Either you'll deal no damage, or take damage despite being the aggressor.
• The game punishes you for trying to wreck the opponents.
• Difficulty slider doesn't seem to do anything.
• Liveries with bonuses render the basic ones obsolete.
• No real incentive to buy more than one car for each class.
• Very poor optimisation on certain tracks
• Braindead AI

The Ugly:
• Devs originally said that all post-launch content would be free, but they sneakily edited that message in June. They have since released one 5€ DLC, which adds 3 cars and nothing else. Two more DLCs are already planned for July and August.
• Post-launch overhauls make it evident the game was released unfinished.

This is absolute garbage. Not even worth the 5€ it goes for during sales.

The Good:
• Beautiful visuals
• Satisfying audio design
• Decent customisation on certain cars
• Respectable car roster, even if artificially inflated by convertible/targa versions
• All cars are viable, unlike in the Forza Horizon series
• Okayish character customisation

The Bad:
• Car handling is hit or miss
• The whole risk/reward aspect is meh
• Awful story, just like every NFS game
• No shopping cart
• No fast travel
• No co-op and lacklustre multiplayer
• Requires third-party client

The Ugly:
• Cops are tedious, unrewarding, and quite frankly just waste the player's time
• Offensively bad soundtrack, with only like 5 decent songs

Summary:
Not great, not terrible. Give it a try when it's on a hefty sale.

Amazing game, incredible soundtrack, but HOLY ♥♥♥♥ do I suck at this game.

Yes. My only complaint is that you have to use a terrible third-party client & account.

Unplayable on decent hardware.

Don't know what some people are smoking or how piss-poor their standards are, but this game is simply awful.

Pain and suffering.
