FO:NV on the PC regularly corrupts save files, crashes during loading, causes processor overheating and has shaky frame rate. There are also some major issues with gameplay: True Ironsights on or off, the aiming reticule is wildly uncalibrated and even a shotgun V.A.T.S. shot with 95% accuracy from less than a foot away misses the target completely; and during the main quest, at Boulder, there is a good chance of the game seizing upon entering the ruins and corrupting your save file, forcing a complete restart and rendering the main quest impossible to complete. The unofficial mods that claim to resolve these problems only make the crashing and corruptions worse, as well as cause a slew of new gameplay issues.

The mods for this game aren't worth the hassle of playing this mess on the PC. Hilariously, the most stable version of this game is on the 360. If you have it for the 360, keep playing it on there.
