I usually do not post negative reviews but this game is something else. Heavily not recommended to buy this even if it was 90% off. Truly awful by every metric.
Awful combat, awful enemy design compensated by always grouping too many together to artificially raise the difficulty. Dungeons are all the same with the same mobs. Crafting is not too bad but its nothing special. Rune mechanics are mildly amusing.
This game is a borderline scam. I would not buy this again even if it cost just 2 dollars. Do not recommend.

Truly a great atmospheric game to get lost in. Slow pacing, great music and amazing driving mechanics. The story is not really good or interesting in any way. 8/10 would play again.

This game is definitely NOT for everyone.

But I loved the experience. It is definitely carried by its amazing artstyle and music. Both generate a very unique and mysterious atmosphere throughout the whole game. Exploring areas in this game was a treat especially because of the artstyle combined with the map design, which is very vertically oriented.

Things i liked:
-Large and diverse world
-Atmosphere
-Exploration
-Decent game performance (not a single crash)
-No Iframes - learn to dodge enemies and bosses like a man!
-Game is very responsive with mouse and keyboard. (My preferred control method)

The issues:
-Bosses did not have very creative mechanics
-Enemies need more balancing. The later I was in the game, the more unbalanced enemies felt. Some were too easy and some were just too painful.
-I experienced a bug, where my items disappeared from my inventory during upgrading. This would have been a dealbreaker for me, but luckily only unimportant weapons disappeared so I was able to continue.
-After finishing the game, you are locked in the last area and can replay the last boss fight. Thats great, but you are locked out of the rest of the world (Or at least I havent found a way to return)
-Poor execution when using gamepads instead of mouse + keyboard.

Did the devs create a second Elden ring? They have not. But did they create a beautiful and engaging world which is fun to explore and experience? Definitely yes!!
