500 g savukinkkua tai potkaa, pekonia tms.
2 sipulia
2 lihaliemikuutiota
suolaa ja pippuria
1 tl kuivattua tai 1rkl tuoretta meiramia hienonnettuna
1. Huuhtele herneet. Laita herneet likoamaan veteen yöksi.
2. Laita herneet kiehumaan liotusvedessään. Hienonna sipuli ja lisää se ja liemikuutiot kattilaan.
3. Anna kiehua miedolla lämmöllä 2-3 tuntia. Muista sekoittaa aina välillä, palaa herkästi pohjaan.
4. Paloittele liha pieniksi ja lisää palat keittoon.
5. (Jos käytät savupotkaa, laita se keittoon makua antamaan jo herneiden kanssa samaan aikaan. Nosta se sitten pois kattilasta, kun herneet ovat kypsiä ja irrottele liha luusta, kuutioi ja lisää keittoon.)
6. Mausta keitto oman maun mukaan suolalla, pippurilla ja meiramilla.
7. Anna keiton kiehua vielä hetki ennen tarjoilua ja lisää tarvittaessa vettä jos liian sakeaa. Tarkista maku.
Gretka tells Ciri the story of how she came to be in the forest all alone. Apparently, her family was unable to feed her and sent her to 'follow the trail of treats' which would lead her to a well-known orphanage in the forest. Gretka got lost chasing a butterfly while following the trail and thus ended up in the predicament Ciri found her in.
Ciri watches over the girl until after their meeting with Phillip Strenger, the Bloody Baron. She requests that the baron keep her as a cooking wench in his castle. Gretka can be found inside the kitchen of the Baron's castle at Crow's Perch after completing the King of the Wolves quest.
