a really magical eco-strategy game. the first time I got moisture high enough that I heard thunderclouds rumbling in the distance gave me chills. fabulous atmosphere and music.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the gimmick of 'your base is drifting on the ocean' as a basis for survival crafting but it somehow works brilliantly.

I think Humankind was and still is a very underrated 4X experience. intuitive menus, solid visuals and enjoyable progression. very newbie friendly to people who aren't super familiar with 4X games.
