pros:
this game started poorly but redeemed itself fully.
NMS continues to add layers and light years of content.
cons:
multiplayer griefers drilling people to death have currently made expeditions annoying.

I do not know if this is a periodic, permanent, or temporary problem but 8/10: still fun in spite of those people.

I will say yes. i love almost* everything about it. "who dunnit in pixels"

*not-almost things:
As of August, 2023 [both normal and experimental versions]

Procedural generation
if you run, fall through floors that spawn too late.
some dead bodies never spawn at scene.
vents blocked by spawned items.
vents not accessible/blocked by other vents.
merchant open, sign on, nobody in store for hours.

The save game
*as of Aug/2023 reloading save-games often hangs game.
solution: exit program, restart, then load game. annoying.
side effect: load time of game multiplies if you have to reload for any reason.

+ Stylistically the game is fantastic, unique, amazing.
- Gameplay mechanics-wise this game is obtuse, counter-intuitive, and some including myself do and will find this current (Nov. 2022) version of this game confusing in a way that makes the experience frustrating. the death-sound is incredibly unpleasant in every way.

spent 1.5 hours.
steam achievements (as they are now): 50%
i stopped playing at times just to stare at the place.
this seems like a good game to just go slow and/or replay.
the hand-drawn game is amazing.
the mechanics and physics are also fabulous.
10/10 : will play more later but saving it because i'm afraid i'll be sad when it is over. . .

Goggle Stadia execs told studios and devs they were doing good then fired them the following week. I read about the original devs starting their own studio (Raccoon Logic) and it is claimed that the original developers have regained the rights to continue making games in this universe but no explicit claims about finishing this one. If they are able to finish this game i can recommend it For now, a big nope.
