It's a simplistic but also fun little design game from the person that brought devs a ton of CC0 assets. I'm not an interior designer myself, but I honestly did enjoy designing a little studio to iterate on off-stream. It plays nicely on both Windows and Steam Deck, even runs well on arm64 Windows.

I personally find this game to be very relaxing. I normally play it once a week with a friend of mine.

3 May 2024: Sony announced an update that made the PlayStation Network account mandatory. Players who were playing in a region where making a PSN account was not possible were effectively banned from the game without the option to get a refund.

11 May 2024: Sony walked the account requirement back, but hadn't yet restored the ability to purchase the game in regions where PSN isn't available. Therefore, my review stayed the way it was.

13 June 2024: Now only Russia, Belarus, Viet Nam, Syria, North Korea, Iran, Cuba are unable to get the game. The Super Pope can Helldive again.

Will not function on Linux (including Steam Deck). The only Linux system that Bungie supported was Google Stadia, which shut down on January 18th, 2023.
This unfortunately leaves people who want to play on Steam Deck with two options for playing the game:
1. Install Windows on your Steam Deck
2. Buy/build a separate PC or console and stream Destiny 2 to your Steam Deck via either official or unofficial means. At which point you might ask why you should bother with playing it on your Deck instead of playing on that other device.

Bungie, I am disappointed.

What purpose does this review have? Nothing, since Epic Games has bought this game and removed it from Steam. This is the second time they pulled this stunt with me. First time was Rocket League. Refunds are also no longer possible on either title for me, meaning I wasted about €30 in total on two titles that were unfortunately corrupted by Epic Games.

A ruddy good game from what I can see here. I suggest you try it with 3 of your best mates.

There are two things wrong with this game, the matchmaking and the fact that Denuvo is bolted onto it.

Now that Psyonix has been bought out by Epic Games, Steam is likely to lose another great title due to Epic wanting to strongarm consumers into using their platform. This is what I think is going to happen:
On Windows:

• Rocket League will become unavailable to purchase on Steam
  
• Rocket League will become available to purchase on Epic Games Store
  
• DLC will become unavailable on Steam

On macOS and Linux:

• Rocket League will become unavailable on macOS and Linux
